Myriam Khalfallah is an expert in natural resource management, environment, and climate change, focused on marine fisheries and ecosystems. She currently serves as the marine climate change technical advisor and project specialist for a U.S. funded project with the NGO FHI360. Her work focuses on climate change and data-poor marine fisheries and ecosystems. Myriam holds a Ph.D. in ‘Resource Management and Environmental Studies’ from the Institute for Resources, Environment and Sustainability (IRES) and the Institute for the Oceans and Fisheries (IOF) at the University of British Columbia (UBC) where she also completed her postdoctoral fellowship. She is also an Agronomic Engineer specializing in Environmental and Fisheries Sciences from the Institut National Agronomique de Tunisie (INAT). Myriam has been practicing photography for over 10 years. Born and raised in Tunisia, she currently resides in Vancouver, Canada.
