The Faculty of Science at the University of British Columbia has published a profile of my work under the title “Alum pushing for truly global fisheries science”. It follows my path from Tunisia to the doctorate and postdoctoral fellowship at UBC and sets out the argument behind my research: fisheries science has to cover the countries the data leave out, and reconstructing catches where official statistics are thin is where that starts.
